First Harvest

After I exposed my weak laundry skills, I'm proud to show that I'm not a complete schlep.

I have successfully grown mesclun mix this year. It's one of those things that intimidated me, but now that I've done it, why in the world did I wait so long.

All I did was scatter some seeds in a couple of big pots and zoop zoop zoop, salad!

My only regret is that I only started two pots, which will yield me about two salads a week....I'd love a lot more.

As a stay-at-home mom, my lunches border on down right depressing. It's pretty bad what you eat things off the floor underneath the high chair. If I can get this salad stuff rolling, I think I'll be clawing my way back up to the real world.
